Arrived in Israel

We left Denver yesterday morning at 8:00am and arrived in Tel Aviv at 10:30am this morning.  We were greeted at the airport by our tour guide Ari and our purple tour bus.

Because we arrived so early we began our tour in Israel with a tour of The Museum of the Jewish People.  One quote at the museum read "Israel's past is the entrance to the future."  Although Jews have been scattered around the world for 4,000 years, they have kept their unique traditions, heritage, and values. The museum focused on family, community, faith, culture, living among the nations, and return to Zion.  It is interesting to note that there has never been a time in history that Jews have not inhabited the land of Israel.

Thirty-two very tired travelers arrived at the hotel in Tel Aviv at 2:30pm.  Some of us walked the nearby market and put their feet in the Mediterranean before dinner at the hotel.

I will leave you this evening with a picture of Nicole putting her feet in the Mediterranean Ocean with the sun setting behind her.  What a beautiful place!
